A new Command Center has been established to help command the Medical Center
Command Center that is activated during emergencies at VMC.
“We discovered that a lot of people just didn’t know the right way to act at our regular Command Center, so we brainstormed a
little, broke into groups, reported out, and doing a plus-delta analysis on a
flip chart we came up with the idea of creating a new Command Center to help
command the regular Command Center,” explained Ken Browneyes, director of Planning and Stuff for VMC.
“We’ve ordered yellow vests and walkie-talkies, so that the new Command Center can
be in constant contact with the VMC Command Center, to assure smooth
communication and operation,” Browneyes added.
